Gould Brothers Exhibit Shooting

Gould Brothers Exhibition Shooting (GBX) is comprised of Aaron and Steve Gould. GBX promotes shooting and hunting sports, conservation, gun safety, and living with a purpose. The Gould Brothers are most well known for their live exhibition shooting shows performed at events across the country and for their online videos seen across the globe.

Matt Stutzman, Inspirational Archer

Matt Stutzman is a foot above the competition, literally. Despite the challenge of being born without arms, this talented archer from Fairfield, Iowa recently won the Silver Medal at the 2012 Paralympic Games. In 2015 at 11th Annual Missouri River Outdoor Expo Matt set a new World Record for the most bulls-eyes in 90 seconds.


Randy Oitker, Precision Archer

Randy is an achery exhibition shooter from Plainville, IL, who started shooting a bow at the age of eight. Before he turned 12 yrs old he had won seventeen National Archery titles and two NABH Championship awards and three NABH Shooter of Year awards. He currently holds multiple Guinness World Records. Randy’s shots are not trick shots but precision shooting. He is the first and only archer to be featured on a Topps trading card in 2010 and again in 2015 on the Allen and Ginter World Champion series cards. His life goal is to introduce as many people to the sport of archery and to the outdoors as possible. Randy is currently a regular on the Outdoor Channel show “Shooting USA’s Impossible Shots”. This year during the 12th Annual Missouri River Outdoor Expo, Randy will be preforming all of his Guinness World Record shots and more.

DockDogs, Canine Aquatics Competition

DockDogs Aquatic Competition is one of the fastest growing dog sport in the US. Anyone is welcome to register a dog or enjoy the competition, as judges track each competitive jump. There is no age limit for people or dogs and any breed may compete, from the smallest Chihuahua to the largest Great Dane— all are welcome to join the fun.

The Royal Gauntlet, Raptor Show

For over 30 years, the professionals of The Royal Gauntlet have been instrumental in helping preserve the delicate balance in nature. Licensed Master Falconer and animal rehabilitator, Bob Aanonsen and members of The Royal Gauntlet have been dedicated to returning sick or injured wild animals back to their homes…in the wild.

Wildlife Encounters, Live Wildlife Show

Wildlife Encounters is dedicated to educating the public about our natural world while offering a home for animals in need. Their programs are based on the core value of connecting the next generation to our natural world.  Connecting students with wildlife conservation and environmental education fosters compassion for all animals and responsible use of our natural resources resulting in responsible citizens of our planet.

K-9 Friz-B-Crew with Tony Hoard

Whether snatching flying discs out of the air during a back flip or taking a running leap off a human’s back, the K-9 Friz-B-Crew exemplifies the pinnacle of precision dog training. The crew includes six dogs that perform acrobatic routines all across the country with trainer Tony Hoard.

Missouri River Heritage Encampment

A mock 1800’s encampment will be located at the Missouri Riverfront and will include ongoing demonstrations in fire starting, flint knapping, blacksmithing, bow making, black powder muzzle-loading, and more. A special ceremony by the 1800’s military division will take place once each day.

Teddy Roosevelt Impersonator- Adam Lindquist

Adam Lindquist’s impersonation and living history representation of the 26th President has been honored to have won 1st place in national competition in 2011, 2012 and 2013.  Teaching Roosevelt’s ideas of hard work, over-coming obstacles and life-long learning resonate with children – and the fact they come in the form of living history helps them remember the lesson as something special and important.  Roosevelt items in the encampment including guns, knives, animal skins, etc. Teddy Roosevelt- A.K.A. Adam Lindquist will speak to the visitors about conservation, hunting and the importance of the outdoors.

 Located outside the Eric Wiebe Shooting Complex. Scheduled all-day Saturday.

Timberworks Lumberjack Show

Timberwork’s Lumberjack Show offers spectators a unique blend of logging history, world class competition, and plenty of hilarious comedy! The Timberworks Lumberjack Show will entertain people of all ages with competitions in the Buck sawing, Axe throwing, Power Sawing, Underhand Chop, Speed Climb, and more!
